Quote by Agnes De Mille: To dance is to be out of yourself.
Over the years, our professional approach and our passion for dance have given us our leading market position. Dance is a powerful impulse, but the art of dance is that impulse channeled by skillful performers into something that becomes intensely expressive and that may delight spectators who feel no wish to dance themselves. But even in the most practical dances, movements that make up the dance are not reducible to those of straightforward labor; rather, they involve some extra qualities such as self-expression, pleasure, and entertainment. It is deep in the heart of every culture throughout history; dance is part of the pulse of humanity. Some people have long understood that dance is an essential part of life and education. It is a discipline of study like any other subject area, and I put as much critical thought into my dance program as I do into my literacy and math programs.
