The cause of her death was never made public by her family and loved ones. But later it was shared by some sources like the Skidmore community that Lilly died due to a medical condition which occurred to her in May. She was constantly fighting with it, but couldn’t make it at last and died on 23 June.

Lilly Kishore, also known as Liliana Joy Kishore, age 21, returned to heaven on 23 June, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones and family. Liliana is survived by her parents, Malia and Rohit Kishore, Ben Kishore, her brother, her grandparents, Donna and Ben Simon, her aunts, uncles and cousins, Sophie, Annabeth, Vandna and Simran Kishore, Aric and Lara Holsinger, Rahul and Samantha Holsinger, her teammates, friends and two pets. She was a very kind person who loved everyone unconditionally and truly believed that every single day was a new chance to do something good for others and brighten others’ day. She was a graduate of the Connelly School of the Holy Child and Skidmore College. She used to follow the guiding principles of service and love. She was also an active and tireless volunteer for helping and serving the underserved youth and homeless animals. She used to spend the major part of her day in Haiti, working with the teachers and children to help them create some culturally appropriate material for learning. Lilly also loved to play lacrosse from the age of five to her college days. During the COViD, she also volunteered for Bronx Lacrosse as mentor and tutor and guided the underserved youth. She also began an online yoga program for these people. At the age of 16, Lilly became a blood donor in the memory of her beloved friend. We will definitely miss this strong, ambitious and sweet girl & a devoted daughter, cousin, sister and friend. Rest in peace my girl, we just wish you were still here because you made the world a better place to live everyday and made everyone else to do the same.
