Borobudur is one of the most iconic historical sites in Indonesia, located in the Central Java province. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most visited tourist destinations in the country. Its name means “Buddhist temple on the hill” in the Javanese language, and it is one of the largest Buddhist temples in the world.
